The story centers around Leigh Parrish (Crew), a small town Saskatchewan girl who becomes a TV star in America then returns to her unnamed hometown with her manager Callum Beck (Milligan). She has a secret that leads her to a dingy nightclub run by a psychotic club-owner named Sal (Coates) and things devolve into a night of violence that also involves the club's bartender Eric (Eklund) and Tess (Boland), one of Leigh's fans.<ref name=SUN/><ref name=HERALD1/><ref name=HERALD2/>
