Atin Singh, the son of a nominal Zamindar Raja Kamal Nain Singh, works for an automobile company in Bombay and falls for Veena, the daughter of a tycoon, Mr. Chowdary. Once, Kamal Nain Singh sets a match with his daughter Vasna. At this, he ploys by finding an alliance with Atin for the dowry, which compels him to knit with a benevolent Ketki.
