Festival Hall Baden-Baden, spring 2009. Robert Wilson's voice fills the darkness of the theater. 'Have a big, big, big, very big smile and sing with your heads. It's a wonderful afternoon! - And you're so happy, happy, happy!' The curtain goes up. Time and again Wilson enters the stage and performs a movement for the actors to repeat. Everything is recorded on video so that his movements can later be rehearsed in his absence. The film DO NOT BE ANXIOUS - BE FAST AND BE QUIET documents Robert Wilson's way of working and the development of his visually stunning production of Carl Maria von Weber's opera 'The Marksman' by exclusively using the prosaic images of the rehearsal camera.
