Seis meses después de que el D-Reaper fuera destruido, los Tamers planean hacerle una fiesta sorpresa a Rika, pero Rika se entera. De repente, un tren-Digimon llamado Locomon comienza a correr por las vías, causando estragos. Los Domadores responden a esto, mientras Takato digevoluciona a Guilmon en Growlmon para detener el tren Digimon, pero falla cuando Takato, Rika y Renamon se suben a él en un intento de frenarlo. 도쿄 도내 선로에 출현한 로코몬으로 인해 시공이 뒤틀려 버리고, 현실 세계가 디지털 존 안으로 빨려들어갈 위기에 처한다. 로코몬의 폭주를 막고 디지털 존을 소멸시키기 위해 은세나(루키)와 오유민(타카토)는 달리는 열차에 과감히 올라탄다.
