The older DigiDestined mysteriously disappear. At the same time, a strange Digimon is seen wreaking havoc in the USA. The younger DigiDestined travel to investigate and solve the mystery and stop the strange Digimon.

Kari y TK, dos de los niños elegidos viajan hasta los Estados Unidos para visitar a Mimi, otra de las niñas elegidas de la primera temporada de la serie. Allí se encontrarán con Willis, que no sólo tiene un compañero Digimon, sino dos: Terriermon y Cocomon. Pero este último parece poseido por un virus que hace que todo se complique.
