Die beiden können sich nicht vorstellen, einmal woanders zu wohnen als hier auf dem Immenhof, wo sie zusammen mit ihren Freunden Kuffel, Zack, Eva, Lotti, Ole, dem Pferdeknecht, oder auch Hamlet, dem bösen Ganter, eine sorglose, fröhliche Kindheit verleben. Doch die Heimkehrerin Brigitte Voss sorgt für Komplikationen, Aufregung und Mißverständnisse, als sich herausstellt, daß sie die Besitzerin von Immenhof ist.
