Dokumentarfilm über drei Berliner Putzfrauen, ihr Leben und ihre geplatzten Lebensträume. Den Regisseurinnen gelingen tiefe Einblicke in die deutsche Wirklichkeit, die die drei Frauen offenherzig gewähren. Spießertum, Ordnungsmanie und Harmoniesucht kommen ebenso zum Tragen wie eine rührende Liebenswürdigkeit und Alltagsweisheit.
