When the US President is shot with an unknown infected substance, a high-flying virologist is called in to deal with the case. The doctor discovers that the disease is a deadly strain of ebola and places the whole hospital in quarantine. A terrorist group claims responsibility and offers an antidote in exchange for concession to its demands, but the virologist discovers that someone else was the driving force behind the action.
