Montrant la mer ondulante, sur laquelle apparaît progressivement un nuage de brume. De là évolue la figure du Christ, qui se met à marcher sur les flots. Le mouvement roulant de l'eau et l'apparition soudaine donnent certainement un effet des plus saisissants, illustrant le miracle biblique du Christ marchant sur l'eau.
