Chickenfoot sont des vétérans du rock rassemblés autour d’un projet commun d’album et de tournée. On y retrouve donc Sammy Hagar au chant et Michael Anthony à la basse (deux anciens de Van Halen), Chad Smith à la batterie (le batteur des Red Hot Chili Peppers) et le légendaire Joe Satriani à la guitare (qui a notamment officié au sein de Deep Purple).
