Sous les apparences mondaines d'une société de relations publiques, Singrid Karaman dirige en réalité un réseau de renseignements. Elle a pour nouvelle mission de faire échec à une prochaine tentative de coup d'Etat dans un pays africain, le Myassaland, et de récupérer l'important stock de diamants tombé aux mains des mercenaires qui ourdissent le complot. Elle charge un ancien nazi, Eric, de former un commando de choc et son assistante, Carol, de contacter les chefs des mercenaires, le commandant St Robert et le capitaine Tarquier.
