Le chauffeur de taxi, fatigué et épuisé, rentre chez lui et se couche. Pendant la nuit, on le voit somnoler dans son lit avec sa femme, quand le cauchemar a lieu. Ensuite, nous obtenons une image réaliste du cheval entrant dans la chambre, faisant sortir le conducteur du lit et le forçant à prendre les brancards de la cabine, tandis que le cheval prend place. Le pauvre chauffeur de taxi est obligé de changer de place avec le cheval.
