In a village Uthukuli a girl Durga and her elder brother Saravanan live with their parents. The family lives in a farm house of the landlord Shiva and were farmers for him. One day Durga and Saravanan find a kid on their way to home and taken with them. They named it as Bujji. Drunkard father of the children sold the kid for his drink. Knowing this Durga was upset and eith her urge saravanan and durga start a journey to get back bujji home.
