With Cyrus delivering a slightly smokey take on John Lennon's trippy vocals, the cover begins fairly straightforward. However, once the song reaches its chorus, the feel-good, shout-ready refrain is overtaken by a blitzkrieg of pulverizing dissonance and random junk noise.
