Beverly Hills Ninja

Im fernen Japan erzählt man sich seit Generationen die Legende vom „großen weißen Ninja“, der eines Tages ins Land kommen wird. Als ein kleines weißes Kind in einer Kiste gefunden wird, glaubt man an die Erfüllung der Prophezeiung und nimmt ihn in der Schule auf. Obwohl sich die Lehrer alle Mühe geben, entwickelt sich Haru zu einem tollpatschigen, adipösen Ninja, dem nichts gelingen mag, bis die schöne Allison Page in das Leben der Kampfwurst tritt. Denn ihr Auftrag fördert in Haru Fähigkeiten zu Tage, die man bislang nicht an ihm gesehen hat. Der korpulente Ninja soll Allisons Freund Martin überprüfen, da sie einen schrecklichen Verdacht hegt. Dabei gerät Haru in ein turbulentes Abenteuer hinein, dass ihn schließlich bis nach Beverly Hills bringt, wo er Allison zur Seite stehen muss.

Haru (Chris Farley) é um rapaz de silhueta avantajada que foi criado por ninjas japoneses. Atrapalhado por natureza, ele acredita ser o "ninja branco" e tentará provar seu valor quando uma bela mulher (Nicollette Sheridan) pede sua ajuda para enfrentar a máfia.

A clan of ninjas finds an abandoned chest that has been washed onto shore, and find a white baby inside. One of their ancient legends spoke of a white foreigner male who would come among the ninja and become a master like no other would. The boy, Haru, is raised amongst the ninja, with the expectation that he may be the one of whom the legend speaks. As Haru grows into adulthood, doubts are quickly cast over him for being the great white ninja. Haru is clumsy and lacking in ninja skills and so fails to graduate as a ninja with the rest of his class.
