A documentary chronicling the Wisconsin-based Bad River Band's ongoing fight for sovereignty against Canadian oil giant Enbridge Energy. Built in 1953 without the tribe's consent, Enbridge's Line 5 has posed a direct threat to the ecosystem of the Rad River Reservation, as well as surrounding wildlife and communities. The film looks at centuries of broken treaties and land seizure, revealing the tribe's legacy of resilience in protecting their lands and Lake Superior -- the largest freshwater resource in America.
