Ficción con maneras de documental que reconstruye el viaje de tres jóvenes a un pueblo irlandés del que jamás volvieron. Ardara es un pueblo costero del Úlster al que llega un chico de Menorca siguiendo los pasos de un viaje que hicieron sus padres años atrás. Allí entabla amistad con dos actrices de Barcelona que también están de viaje. Y los tres desaparecen. A través de los ojos de quienes les conocieron, así como del rastro que dejaron tras de sí en forma de grabaciones de vídeo, la película quiere entender por qué no volvieron a casa.
Macià is a 23 year-old guy from Ciutadella who decides to visit Ireland. He follows the trail of a journey previously made by his parents, 20 years ago. At the same time, Bruna and Maria, two young actresses from Barcelona, are looking for a quiet and isolated place to walk and disconnect from the noisy city. Their journeys will cross paths in the town of Ardara. And once they've met they will remain together until the last days of July. But these wonderful days shall end suddenly where Europe ends: at the country's highest sea cliffs. At least, that's what some of the locals would tell you. Ardara reconstructs the journey of these three young people through the tales of those who witnessed their travels, and questions who they were and why they disappeared.
