Dopo il matrimonio tra la principessa Lilia di Ayodoya ed il principe Ithaca di Cosmoralia, il pianeta Astria sembra vivere una nuova era di pace e di prosperità. Improvvisamente però il pianeta viene invaso da un misterioso nemico che con il suo esercito di macchine sembra determinato ad uccidere ogni essere umano e forse solo Jimsa e Affle, i due gemelli della coppia reale, potranno scongiurare la fine del mondo.

Nachdem sie ihren Heimatplaneten durch einen Angriff von Maschinen mit künstlicher Intelligenz verloren hat, kommt der weibliche Androide in einer erdähnlichen Zivilisation an, nur um feststellen zu müssen, dass jene Bevölkerung das nächste Ziel sein wird. 지구로부터 220만 광년이나 떨어진 안드로메다 성운에 있는 풍요로운 자연에 둘러싸인 아름다운 행성 아스트리아스. 아스트리아스 별의 왕자 이타카는 공주 리리아를 왕비로 맞이하게 되지만 두 사람의 행복은 그리 오래가지 못한다. 고도로 발달된 문명을 가지고 있는 외우주에서 마더 머신 이라고 불리는 컴퓨터가 행성을 침략하기 시작한 것인데 사람들은 기계에 의해서 영혼을 빼앗기고 코스모라리아 제국은 점차 나라 전체가 컴퓨터에게 침식이 되어간다. 한편 임신을 한 리리아 왕비는 지무사와 아프트라는 쌍둥이 남매를 낳게 되고, 나라를 도망쳐 나온 두 남매는 여러 차례 운명의 장난과 마주하면서도 여검사인 이루와 함께 기계들에게 맞서 싸우게 되면서 안드로메다 스토리즈 스토리는 이어진다.

安卓美达战记（Andromeda Stories）是东映动画制作的OVA动画，于1982年8月22日开始发售，全1话。

En un planeta desconocido se ha desarrollado un mundo nuevo. La perfección es su máximo objetivo y las personas se han convertido en máquinas y son dominadas por ellas. Una antigua creencia les hace pensar en negros augurios cuando nacen gemelos, por ello cuando la reina da a luz a un niño y una niña un guerrero se lleva a la pequeña ocultándole el hecho a la madre. Estos personajes quieren liberarse del yugo de las máquinas y luchan contra ellas, siendo ayudados por una extraña guerrera que luego se demuestra es la hermana del rey. Reunidos de nuevo los dos niños, descubren un nuevo planeta, donde la naturaleza reina a sus anchas, plena de vegetales y vida, partiendo hacia allí para crear un nuevo mundo.

In the Andromeda galaxy there's a planet of a highly developed human civilization. The gentle Prince Itaka and another kingdom's beautiful Princess Lilia are about to enter a love-marriage and take over the throne, when they discover a strange object on the night sky. Later it lands on the planet, and an alien, mechanic civilization invades King Itaka's peaceful country making nearly everybody their slave. On a fateful night Queen Lilia gives birth to twins, and to avoid misfortune, the nanny Tarama takes one of the babies away, and entrusts it to the gladiator Balga. They still don't know, that the children were born with strong powers, and hold the key to the fight against the enemy that's searching to destroy every human civilization on the planet.
