Al's Lads

1927, a viharos '20-as évek vége. Chicagóban virágzik a korrupció, a szerencsejáték, a prostitúció és az alkoholtilalom. A történet középpontjában Jimmy és két liverpooli barátja, Dan és Eddy áll. A fiúk pincérként dolgoznak egy óceánjáró luxushajón. A fényesebb jövő érdekében azt tervezik, hogy New Yorkban megszöknek a hajóról és Amerikában kezdenek új életet. Némi ügyeskedéssel ellopnak a raktárból hat üveg gint, ami jó pénzt ér az alkoholtilalommal sújtott Amerikában, de szerencséjükre - vagy szerencsétlenségükre - az árut éppen két gengszternek kínálják eladásra. Az ügyes fiúk felkeltik Al Capone figyelmét, és hamarosan a hírhedt gengsztervezér bandájában találják magukat...

Three British seamen (Scousers) working as waiters on a transatlantic liner in 1927 are given a chance to work for the Al Capone gang, after running booze (bootlegging) into America which had Prohibition in place.
