Mashood Albuaya (AR Tompel) is a rich man who believes that only the rich can be happy, and that he has the power to bestow said wealth and happiness. Mashood has three daughters: Safura (Mariani) and Suhara (Mimi Loma or Aminah Ismail), who share his life philosophies, and Mastura (Saloma), who does not and frequently clashes with him. Mashood decides to prove his beliefs by marrying off Safura and Suhara to two men from wealthy families, Muharram and Safar (Tony Azman and Karim Latiff), while Mastura is married off to poor goat-herder Syawal (P. Ramlee).
