Rosy is a reasonably well adjusted 25-year-old bank teller who was brought up in foster care. She was neither abused nor particularly mistreated growing up, but a gnawing emotional hole eats away at her soul, because she was never formally adopted. She is just plain lonely. She feels the lack of a mother and a father in her life has left her with a void to fill.
