Mani is different. The sudden news of his father's death did not conjure anything 'usual' in him. He wasn't sad, or nostalgic or lost. He was miffed. It was an inconvenience, irksome. He was faced with distortions in his inflexible adherence to routine life. He returns to his native to find that his fathers death is not about ordinary departure but leftover inconveniences. This takes him on a whirlwind emotional and physical roller coaster as he wakes up one day, grabs a bicycle and decide to cycle away to escape the mess of his father's demise.
