フィリピンパブを研究対象にしている大学院生・中島翔太は、パブで出会ったフィリピン人女性ミカと交際することに。ミカは月給6万円で休みは月2回だけという過酷な環境で働かされており、偽装結婚までしていた。そんな状況に負けることなくミカは前向きに働き続け、フィリピンの両親のもとに翔太を連れて行く。ミカを大切に思う気持ちを次第に強めていった翔太は、彼女に頼まれてヤクザのもとへ乗り込むことになるが……。
