源氏物語

その子冷泉帝の擁立につれ太政天皇となった光源氏は、愛人紫の上をさしおいて、朱雀院の第三皇女三の宮を妻に迎えたが、やがて生まれた子は、三の宮と頭中将の息子柏木の間に生まれた子供であった。源氏は、今更に若い頃のあやまちの数々を思い、今、自分にかえって来たことを知るのであった。
