在台灣，有一群媽媽希望能翻轉民眾對於政治的想像，並踩平政治參與的門檻，實踐民主的價值，於是他們毅然決然投入市議員參選。這是他們第一次出擊，他們是歐巴桑聯盟。在台中有六位候選人，這些政治素人，沒有宣傳車及看板，他們穿梭各個路口及菜市場上，用自己的聲音來與選民對話。在他們的行動中，選舉不再是當選與否，而是看見更多的期望與對話空間。
