Kate and Des are having some friends over for the evening, and have just found out that their only child is gay. Deciding to keep that news to themselves for now, it transpires that each of their guests has a secret of their own. A comedy of errors ensues as each couple suspects that the conversation hints at their own secret, with everyone wondering what everyone else knows. Confusion and tension mounts at the dinner table as everyone as they try to deflect the conversation.
