The Lion King franchise began with the 1994 animated film, focusing on Simba, a lion cub destined to become king after his father Mufasa. It chronicles Simba’s journey of growth, self-discovery, and reclaiming his kingdom from his uncle Scar. The franchise continued with sequels like "The Lion King II: Simba’s Pride" and spin-offs like "The Lion Guard." There’s also a Broadway musical and a 2019 CGI adaptation.
Daddy or Mommy (French: Papa ou maman) is a 2015 French comedy film directed by Martin Bourboulon. A sequel was made a year later, and it was the subject of both an Italian (Mom or Dad?) and a German remake in 2017, as well as a Spanish remake (You Keep the Kids!) in 2021.
