On a cold winter day, Calvin Palmer Jr. decides he has had enough of trying to keep open the barbershop his father handed down to him. He cannot borrow, revenues are falling, and he seems more interested in get-rich-quick schemes to bring in easy money. Without telling his employees or the customers, he sells the barbershop to a greedy loan shark, Lester Wallace, who secretly plans to turn it into a striptease.
Since the events of the previous film, Calvin Palmer, Jr. has finally settled comfortably into his role as the owner of the inner city Barbershop (hair) founded by his grandfather and father. The shop's latest threat comes from overzealous developer Quentin Leroux who opens a rival barbershop Chain store across the street, called "Nappy Cutz".
