2010

While held captive by terrorists, he develops the Iron Man Suit and escapes. From that day on, he vows not to waste his second chance at life and to change the world for the better. For that purpose, he comes to Japan. In Lab 23 in Japan, great strides have been taken to develop, and build, a unique power station which does not run on fossil fuels, the Arc Station. Stark intends to join this project, and, for that, he is ready to announce his retirement as Iron Man. At the same time, he will also announce the Mass-produced Iron Men, to which he will pass on his duties. However, during the ceremonies, Stark is suddenly attacked by combat mecha belonging to an organization known as Zodiac.

Spider-Man

1967

Marvel Comics' most memorable character, Spider-Man (Spidey for short), got the star treatment in animation in 1967. This cartoon premiered at around the same time as The Fantastic Four and the Marvel Superheroes Hour. The theme song is one of the most memorable television theme songs ever, and has been re-recorded plenty of times. When high school student Peter Parker is bitten by a radioactive spider at a lab demonstration, he finds himself owner of some new powers, namely the proportionate strength, speed, and agility of a natural spider, plus a sixth "spider"-sense that enables him to sense danger, and the ability to climb on walls.

Emma Frost is able to locate a comatose Charles on Genosha in the care of Magneto. Professor X telepathically orders Wolverine to lead the X-Men and set out to save the world from The Sentinel Project and prevent the Brotherhood of Mutants from taking over the world before the future ends up a bad one.

X-Men

2011

The X-Men are reunited following the death of a teammate, and are summoned by Charles Xavier to Japan following the abduction of Hisako Ichiki (Armor). There, they confront the U-Men, a lunatic cult that steals and transplants mutant organs to further strengthen their own army, and the battle for justice is on.

X-Men: Evolution

2000

Loosely following the main stories from the original comic, X-Men: Evolution accompanies the lives of six mutants (Cyclops, Jean Grey, Nightcrawler, Shadowcat, Rogue, and a new original character named Spyke) who attend Xavier's Institute for the Gifted, where they ought to learn how to control their powers and use them for good. These teenagers must face a world that both fears and despises them.
