The New Worst Witch

The new worst witch carries on from the original series The Worst Witch based on books by Jill Murphy. This time at Cackles Academy, it's no longer Mildred 'Millie' Hubble but her cousin Henrietta 'Hettie' Hubble who is causing trouble.

The Worst Witch

1998

Mildred (Milly) Hubble came to Cackle's Academy to start her new life as a witch. On the first day of school, she arrived late to school, crashing into the school grounds – not a very good start to the first day of school at all! Even though her spells turn into a disaster and she can't fly her broomstick, she always saves the day!

Weirdsister College

2001

As a follow-up to The Worst Witch serial, we follow Mildred Hubble (Georgina Sherrington) in her first year at Weirdsister College, a university for students of magic. Similar to her adventures at Cackle's, Mildred usually messes up, but saves the day in the end. The series has a darker side than The Worst Witch, with evil creatures and a possible doomsday.

Land of the Lost (1991)

The Porter family, Tom, Kevin, and Annie get sucked into a prehistoric alternative world while taking a family vacation. The Porters build a tree house, hook up with a few locals, Tasha- orphaned, extra smart dinosaur, Stink-monkey man, and Christa-another human who has lived in the Land of the Lost since she was a little girl. The Porters must deal with living with dinosaurs and avoiding the evil advanced Sleestaks.

Out of This World (1987)

1987

This show revolved around a teenager, who was a little different from most: she was half alien! She had the ability to stop time. Unfortunately, her father (the alien) wasn't around to guide her, though she could communicate with him. She had a surfer boyfriend -with whom she could not share her secret, though she was often tempted...

Today's Special

1981

In the children's department of a major department store, each night when Jodie arrives for work, she carries a mannequin (Jeff) upstairs, where Muffy says the magic words "hocus pocus alimagocus!" This brings Jeff to life, and hilarity ensues.
