Warner Bros. Television (WBTV) has been one of the entertainment industry’s most-respected providers of original primetime programming since its founding in 1955. The Studio’s flagship primetime scripted programming unit, WBTV, produces original drama and comedy series for multiple platforms. As of April 2020, WBTV is producing more than 50 scripted primetime series, with shows on each of the five broadcast networks, plus programs for cable’s HBO and Showtime. WBTV also produces original series for subscription/on-demand streaming services such as HBO Max, DC Universe, Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV+, Hulu, Netflix and Quibi.
