DreamWorks Channel is a pay television network that is owned and operated by NBCUniversal, a division of Comcast. It first launched in Southeast Asia. DreamWorks Animation programming, both in new and archive forms, make up the primetime and early day schedules of new sister network Universal Kids, which launched in the United States on 9 September 2017 (a format evolution of an earlier version of the channel named "Sprout"). The rights for DreamWorks Animation's programming in the United States are also handled by Netflix and other networks.
